What SageWiz is
SageWiz is an educational health tool run by SageWiz LLC, a company based in Wyoming, USA. You can talk through symptoms, habits and lab results in plain words. SageWiz explains what health research says about the topic, points out patterns that may be worth tracking, and suggests questions to bring to a clinician.
It is free to start, and you do not need an account to try it.
How it works
SageWiz does two things. The first is education. When you ask a question, you get a plain-language answer built from general health knowledge, with safety notes where they matter.
The second is analysis that fits you. When one answer is not enough, you can ask for a report. SageWiz asks about 15 to 25 short interview questions about your symptoms and your story, then writes an educational report from what you told it. You can review your answers before the report is made. Because it is built from your own words, the report is about your situation, not a generic article.
SageWiz uses artificial intelligence to write its answers, and AI can make mistakes. Check anything important with a clinician.
What SageWiz is not
- It is not a doctor, a clinic or a medical provider.
- It is not designed to diagnose, treat or prescribe, or to tell you to start, stop or change a medicine.
- It is not for emergencies. If you think you may be in danger, call 911 (or your local emergency number) now.
- Your chat and your report are written by software. They are not reviewed by a clinician.
What you read in SageWiz is general education. It cannot know your full history, and it is not a substitute for care from someone who does.
How we approach safety
Crisis screen. Messages are screened for signs of an emergency or a crisis, such as thoughts of self-harm or symptoms that may need urgent care. When something sounds urgent, SageWiz is designed to say so first and point you to emergency help, such as 911 or the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline in the US. Safety help is never behind a paywall or a daily limit.
Dose rules. SageWiz is built not to tell you to start, stop or change a prescribed medicine, not to state a dose above a medicine’s package label, not to give doses for children, and not to state amounts that could cause harm. These rules can fail, so do not rely on a chat for dosing. Those questions belong with your prescriber or pharmacist.
Honest limits. Safety checks lower the chance of mistakes. They do not remove it.
How we approach privacy
Health information is sensitive. SageWiz does not sell your health information and does not share it with advertisers. You can ask for a copy of your data or ask for it to be deleted. The full details, including what is stored and for how long, are in our policies.
How we keep our health content honest
The articles on our blog follow a written editorial policy: named public sources, a separate fact-check, visible dates and a way to report a mistake. We say plainly that articles are not reviewed by a clinician today.
